Market context
ASPI is generally treated as the leading comprehensive Slovak legal-information system. Its main rivals are Beck-online.sk (C.H.Beck SK, strong on Beck commentaries) and EPI (Poradca podnikateľa, strong on tax/business and the Zbierka zákonov). What you can ask
- “Show all Najvyšší súd SR decisions citing § 420 Občianskeho zákonníka.”
- “Time-version of zákon č. 311/2001 Z.z. (Zákonník práce) effective on a given date with linked commentary.”
- “What does Slovak case law say about restrictive covenants in B2B contracts?”
- “Find commentary on recent reforms to Slovak commercial law.”
Setup
Connect via Settings → Integrations using your firm’s ASPI credentials — the connector is listed as ASPI, Slovak legal research. Once it is connected, the source appears in the chat Research picker as ASPI (SK), and you switch it on per question like any other source — see Research mode. The flow is the same for every source — see Setting up integrations. An ASPI subscription on its own is not enough. Wolters Kluwer also has to enable Libra access on the ASPI account, and Libra reads that permission out of the sign-in token. Without it, sign-in completes but the connection stops on a CONTENT ACCESS REQUIREMENT screen — “You’re signed in — but we can’t find active content to use in Libra” — offering Get a subscription, Contact support and Back to Libra. If you hit that with ASPI credentials that otherwise work, ask your firm administrator to have Wolters Kluwer switch Libra access on for the account.

ASPI is bought from Wolters Kluwer rather than through Libra. Your firm administrator can arrange a subscription from the ASPI product page.
Tips
Cite by paragraph and act number
Cite by paragraph and act number
”§ 420 OZ” / “zákon č. 311/2001 Z.z.”: Slovak lawyers cite by paragraph and law number, and ASPI is structured around them.
Use time-versions when the date matters
Use time-versions when the date matters
For matters where you need the law as it stood at a specific date, name the date; ASPI’s time-versioning surfaces the right text.
