Most content integrations in Libra are Add-on products: they require an active subscription to the underlying provider. Once your firm has the subscription, connecting it to Libra is a one-time step per source.

Connect a database once: the connection follows your account across the web app, Word add-in, and Outlook add-in. No re-authenticating per surface.

The general flow

1

Open Settings

Click your profile icon at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose Settings.Profile menu with Settings option highlighted
2

Go to the Integrations tab

Each available source for your jurisdiction appears as a card with a Connect button.Integrations settings tab listing available sources
3

Click Connect on the source you want to enable

A sign-in window opens for the provider. Use the credentials your firm uses for the underlying subscription.
4

Authorise Libra

Confirm the access request. Libra remembers the connection.
5

The source is now available in Research mode

Open any chat, click Research, and the source appears in the picker. See Research mode.

Included vs. Add-on

Two access tiers across the integrations.
TierWhat it means
IncludedAvailable on every Libra subscription at no extra cost. No setup needed.
Add-onRequires an active subscription with the provider. Most legal research databases are Add-on.
Each country page (under Content integrations in the sidebar) lists which sources are Included and which are Add-on for that country.

Disconnecting a source

If you need to revoke a connection, whether switching providers, ending a subscription, or troubleshooting:
1

Settings → Integrations

The same place you connected it.
2

Click Disconnect on the source

Confirm. Libra removes the credentials.
3

The source disappears from Research mode

Anyone in your firm using the connection loses access until you reconnect.
Disconnecting affects every user in your firm who uses the integration. Coordinate with your firm administrator before disconnecting a shared integration.

Tips

No need to set up everything on day one. Connect the sources you reach for in your daily work; add the rest as you need them.
When asking a question in Research mode, enable only the sources you actually need. More sources doesn’t mean better answers; it usually means slower, less focused ones.
Each country has its own purchase model. The country page lists the marketing URL where you can review the product or arrange a subscription.
